Our take
I picked up this open-box Ninja Master Prep QB1004, and it's been a workhorse. The 450W motor powers through nuts and ice easily—much stronger than the smaller Ninja models. The reversible blades are a smart touch, doubling blade life. I like that it comes with multiple containers: a blender pitcher and a chopper bowl. The 16 oz capacity is fine for single servings or small batches. My only gripe is the single speed—it's either on or off, no pulse. But for the price, it's a capable little machine that does a lot. Cleanup is simple with dishwasher-safe parts.
